BAND

MEET N' GREET!

(in ALPHABETICAL ORDER by BAND NAME)

My time spent with LOCKSLEY has been a continuously friendly experience.  They have a brotherly love (two members, Jesse and Jordan, are, in fact brothers) that is expressed in their playful sense of humor.  Jesse Laz reminded me of my own brother and was just as fun.  Kai Kennedy is totally warm and always up for conversation.  When I first met these guys, they were between managers and I was concerned I'd not see them again.  But fate brought them back to me a year later and it was a sweet reunion.

THE MOWGLIS!  What a fun-loving band to see and meet!  The video for 'San Francisco' pretty much defines them.  When I saw them, they had a big family of people playing and working together; all warm and human.
I really enjoyed hangin' with them after the show at Brighton Music Hall.  I felt like I had known Andy for years and we bonded over our interest in photography.  I found Michael (pictured above with the distinctive blond curls) to be proudly sober and a genuine Facebook friend.

Mr. Pokey LaFarge is all but as charming to meet as his style presents.
On July 20th, 2013, after a brutally hot day in Massachusetts and moments before he was scheduled to perform his last consecutive show of ten nights,
Pokey took the time to pose for a photo with me:

I had a fantastic, fun evening of dancing and music at Great Scott that surely cured me of my heat stroke.  Post show, I spent time mingling with various members of the band.  Chloe and TJ were sweet and friendly.  Joey and Adam were totally down-to-earth in chill conversation.  Adam had me laughing pretty hard... he's got a dangerously contagious chuckle.
I truly look forward to being in this band's presence again.

If you want to learn about WHITE RABBITS, clickety click their Wikipedia page.  If you want to know if they are cool guys, I'll tell ya.  I had so much fun hanging out after the December 2012 show with them at T. T. the Bear's, drinking, smoking, laughing.  Matt, in particular, was hysterical.

HAHA... dizz Matt.  And Stephen's winning SMILE!

AND Stephen graciously allowed me to lay my fingers on is keys!!!

OH YEAH!
