July 3rd, 2012, I had the deafening pleasure of seeing such headbangers as 'Infinity Guitars' performed with all of the energy I had hoped for.  This band delivers non-stop, electric ecstasy through piercing vocals and high volume power chords.

It's one of those bands that moves you before you know you're moving.

I only wish the show lasted longer than the ringing in my ears!

(Yeah... I didn't opt for earplugs.)

If you EVER get the opportunity to see DEVO, SEE THEM!!  I had the privilege of seeing them at Northern Lights (now, Upstate Concert Hall) in Clifton Park, NY on July 31st, 2010.  They had just released 'Fresh' and, despite the production of their new album, DEVO stayed connected to their roots with tons of song selections off Freedom of Choice and, my personal fave,

Be In Love

The first time I saw LOCKSLEY was on July 3rd, 2010 at Pearlpalooza, an annual street festival in Albany, NY.  They were the opening act on the main stage followed by Civil Twilight, We Are Scientists, and Rusted Root headlining.  It was a beautiful summer day and I was able to position myself close to the stage to watch these boys doo-wop their repertoire of songs off their newly released Be In Love album.  

The crowd grew fast as they kicked out hits like 'The Whip' and 'Darling, It's True'.

Before I knew it, I was backed by a street filled with dancing fans and the festival was well underway!

PEARLPALOOZA 2010

I was happy to find Locksley followed me to Massachusetts and played on 11/11/11 at Johnny D's in Somerville.  They had the same upbeat energy and style I had seen before and would love to see again.
